Stellar, value-oriented handmades by Oliva cigars.

Flor de Oliva cigars are value-priced beauties from Gilberto Oliva and family, crafted from Dominican and Nicaraguan long-leaf tobaccos and a robust and satisfying sweet-tipped Sumatra wrapper. After aging, the end result is a flavorful, creamy blend - rich and creamy without the bite.

The ‘Giants’ sizes utilize the same blend of fine tobaccos as the more traditional sizes but offer a cooler, slower burn that continues to build in flavor as the cigar progresses. A delicious (and inexpensive) display of large-ring cigars.

Top-notch CI pricing seals the deal.

This week's Budget Smoke Sunday column features a cigar I have been smoking since I got into the hobby many years ago: a classic Flor de Oliva. Dubbed "the World's Best Golf Cigar" by many of the people I regularly smoke with, this cigar is an excellent value across the board. It is made by one of the best companies in the game in Oliva, and features Oliva's trademark construction.

The branding on this cigar is pretty unique within the Oliva brand, this cigar features extremely rich, earthy flavor with a hint of sweetness that is just enough to be acceptable to those smokers who largely believe this to be a gimmick. This cigar is durable and is hard to crack; it can take being dropped on a few greens, placed by the grill, and it can even take a spill or two off of the coffee table and keep chuggin' along.  It smokes quick, but features a pretty even burn and draw; you aren't going to pull tons of smoke from many of these due to the hasty nature of their construction, but for under 5 dollars, you're going to get a solid cigar experience while you do whatever it is you do to unwind any day of the week.

Give it a whirl, it's cheap! Happy smoking!
